What data it collects
The typical quantities from a tracker. Which ones are actually available depends on the device and how it is wired in.

Questions about vehicle tracking
In most cases, yes. The platform is not tied to a tracker manufacturer: it is configured against the message format the device already transmits. Send us a sample transmission and within a few days we will tell you whether and how it connects.
Yes. Route history is browsed per vehicle and per date, with the track drawn on the map and the events recorded along the way. Two different journeys can also be compared side by side.
Yes. Mileage, timings and dwell times are measured data, exportable to CSV or readable through the API. It is the quickest way to settle a dispute over an expense claim or a billed job.
Tracking company vehicles means processing data that can be linked to employees, so it is regulated. Under the GDPR you need a lawful basis, a clear notice to staff and a defined retention period; several countries add their own requirements — in Italy, for example, Article 4 of the Workers' Statute requires a union agreement or authorisation from the labour inspectorate before switching it on. The platform helps on the technical side, with role-based permissions over who sees what and limits on data retention, but the compliance obligations remain with the employer.
